Ten years ago the two minstrels born and raised in Bamako, won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary World Music Album, crowning a career started recording tapes in the market squares of Mali's capital city. Today the duo has a unique curriculum with few equals when it comes to the stylistic variety and the geographic provenance of their collaborations. Their soul music has an immediatly recognizable cosmopolitan sound, showing their flair and universally acclaimed style from the first notes of every song. In their concerts festivity and melancholy, messages of peace and poetry intermingle flawlessy, forming a kaleidoscope of emotions.
