In 2019, the last wing of the OGR Project has been completed in the OGR Tech. Whilst at the beginning of the twentieth century the OGR was a place of excellence for material production, in 2019 the ìOfficine Sud will/is become a place for the intangible production of knowledge, a laboratory devoted to research and innovation in the digital, creative and social fields.
In the area of around 12,000 square meters, in collaboration with local and international partners, a hub will be developed for scientific, technological and industrial research focused on three main activities:
A new hub for scientific, technological and industrial research with international partners.
The OGR Tech is a flexible space and designed to accommodate companies in rotation in constant change, which will provide three essential ingredients for an innovative enterprise: support in the research and development processes, connection with national and international companies sensitive to the issues of open innovation, and opportunities for discussion with investors and business angels. The activities developed in this area will also act as an "engine" for some of the content offered in the OGR Cult.
The aim of the OGR Project is to create a place where the experimentation of new design can be integrated with activities aimed at the public, offering unique experiences and capable of creating conditions to stimulate the development and growth of the cultural, social and economic capital of our territory.
