The main theme of the exhibition of the artistic Italian duo will be the representation of anger and violence in contemporary art and cinema.

Masbedo’s exhibition for OGR takes its premises from Esercizi di Violenza, a new performance created for OGR’s Duomo, on the occasion of the second anniversary. At the center of the exhibition there is the relationship of complicity between attraction and fascination for violence and the notions of gaze, vision and spectacle. The performance is an open laboratory for the production of images in which it is demonstrated how the contemporary aesthetics is dominated by a precise code, unconsciously shared. Behind an apparent beauty hides a hostile feeling and visions of a catastrophic future. This unconsciously shared aesthetic can be found in films, television series, video clips, fashion, art and contemporary theater.
